Your questions,
answered clearly.
Everything you need to know about hiring, costs, matching, and support. If your question is not here, we are one message away.
Get in touch with us through WhatsApp or the assessment form on our website. We start with a short consultation to understand your household, your care needs, your timeline, and your preferences. From there, we shortlist suitable candidates, arrange interviews, and guide you through every step of the paperwork and placement.
You will need a copy of your NRIC or passport if you are a foreigner, proof of income, and a completed employer declaration form. For renewal cases, you will also need your helper's existing work permit details. We will walk you through exactly what is needed once we understand your situation.
Transfer helpers are already in Singapore, so the process typically takes 1 to 3 weeks from interview to placement. Overseas hires take longer, usually 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the country of origin, medical clearance, and processing times. We will give you a realistic timeline based on your specific situation.
Yes. We arrange video interviews with shortlisted candidates before any commitment is made. For transfer helpers, in-person interviews can sometimes be arranged depending on availability. You decide only after you are comfortable with the match.
A transfer helper is already in Singapore and available to change employers. The process is faster and simpler, with no overseas travel or lengthy immigration processing. An overseas hire is recruited from her home country, usually Indonesia or Myanmar. Overseas hires give you a wider candidate pool but take more time and involve additional steps including medical clearance and work permit issuance.
Our agency fee covers the full service from consultation and matching through to paperwork and placement. This includes candidate shortlisting, interview coordination, documentation support, work permit application assistance, and post-placement follow-up. We provide a clear breakdown before anything is agreed.
The helper levy is a monthly fee paid directly to the Singapore government (MOM) for employing a foreign domestic worker. The standard levy is SGD 300 per month. Families with young children, elderly members, or persons with disabilities may qualify for the concessionary rate of SGD 60 per month. We will help you check your eligibility when you enquire.
For helpers from certain countries including Indonesia and Myanmar, a security bond of SGD 5,000 is required. This is a financial guarantee to the Singapore government and is usually fulfilled through a domestic helper insurance policy that includes the bond, rather than a direct cash payment. We assist with this as part of the placement process.
MOM requires all employers to purchase personal accident insurance with a minimum coverage of SGD 60,000 for their helper. Many employers also choose a hospitalisation and surgical plan to cover inpatient treatment costs. We assist with insurance arrangements and explain the options clearly during the process.
The total cost includes the agency fee, your helper's monthly salary (typically SGD 550 to SGD 800 depending on experience and origin), the monthly helper levy (SGD 60 or SGD 300), insurance premiums, the security bond, and your helper's meals and accommodation. We provide a full cost breakdown so you can plan accurately before committing. See our pricing page for full details.

Chat about pricingYes. We work with helpers from Indonesia and Myanmar. Most employers have a preference based on past experience, language familiarity, or cultural fit, and we take those preferences into account. That said, we always recommend focusing on care experience and household compatibility as the most important factors in a good long-term match.
We assess your care needs, household routine, family composition, and any specific requirements before shortlisting. We look at each helper's employment history, care experience, language ability, and personality fit. Our goal is a match that works for your household and is fair and sustainable for the helper.
Yes. We share detailed biodata including employment history, care experience, language skills, and availability before the interview stage. You will have enough information to decide whether to shortlist a candidate for interview before committing to anything.
We go back and refine the search. We understand that the first shortlist does not always produce the right match, and we will work with you until we find a candidate you are confident about. There is no pressure to proceed until you feel ready.
As an employer, you are legally responsible for providing suitable accommodation, adequate food or a food allowance, timely salary payment, annual medical check-ups, and the required insurance and levy. You must also respect your helper's rest days and treat them with dignity in accordance with Singapore employment law. We include a clear employer responsibility overview as part of your onboarding with us.
There is no fixed minimum salary under Singapore law for foreign domestic workers, but market rates for Indonesian helpers are typically SGD 550 to SGD 650 per month and for helpers from Myanmar, SGD 550 to SGD 700 depending on experience. We will advise you on appropriate salary benchmarks based on your helper's background and the role during your consultation.
Yes. MOM requires that your helper receives at least one rest day per week. If both parties agree, the rest day can be compensated with additional pay instead of a day off. This arrangement must be agreed upon in writing and should be fair to the helper.
There are no fixed maximum working hours set in Singapore law for domestic helpers, but MOM guidance emphasises that work schedules should be reasonable and allow adequate rest. We encourage employers to set realistic expectations and maintain a respectful working environment, as this leads to better outcomes for everyone involved.
We offer one free replacement within the first 6 months if the placement is not working out. We will assess the situation with you, understand what went wrong, and find a more suitable candidate. The replacement process follows the same vetting and documentation steps as the original placement.
If your helper wishes to terminate employment early, there is a process governed by MOM guidelines. We will guide you through this, including any notice period obligations and the steps to either find a replacement or facilitate a transfer to another employer if your helper chooses to remain in Singapore.
Contact us immediately and report the matter to the police. We will assist you in lodging the necessary report with MOM and advise you on next steps, including the security bond implications and how to proceed with finding a replacement.
Yes. We provide ongoing post-placement support including follow-up check-ins and assistance if issues arise between you and your helper. If challenges come up, we are available to step in, help both parties communicate, and find a workable path forward.
Work permits for domestic helpers are typically issued for 2 years and must be renewed before they expire. The renewal process involves a medical examination for your helper, updated insurance, and a new work permit application through MOM. We handle the full renewal process for you, including documentation coordination and submission.
Yes. If you no longer need your helper's services, she can be transferred to a new employer. We facilitate the transfer process in line with MOM regulations, including updating the work permit details and ensuring the transfer is handled properly for both parties.
At the end of the contract period, you can choose to renew the work permit and continue the employment, allow your helper to return home, or facilitate a transfer to another employer. We will be in touch in advance of the expiry date and help you plan the right path forward.
