Terms of use.

This is the necessary part. It sets out the terms you accept by using this website, and it is deliberately short. The important thing to understand before you read further: this site is where we explain what we do. The commitments that actually bind us to you live in the service agreement we would sign with you, and the commitments between you and your helper live in her employment contract. Nothing on this page replaces either of them.

1. Who we are

This site is operated by Jaz Helpers Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202432100E), an employment agency licensed by Singapore's Ministry of Manpower under EA Licence 24C2490, at 1 Jalan Dusun #02-13, Singapore 329363. Our licence can be verified on the MOM directory. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Jaz Helpers Pte. Ltd., and "you" means anyone using this website.

By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.

2. What this site is, and is not

This site describes our services, explains how hiring a domestic helper in Singapore works, and publishes guides for employers. It is general information written for Singapore households.

It is not legal advice, immigration advice, tax advice or medical advice, and it is not a substitute for MOM's own published rules or for advice about your specific situation. Every household is different, and the general case we describe may not be yours. If your circumstances are unusual, ask us directly or ask MOM.

3. Nothing here is an offer or a guarantee

Any placement we arrange is subject to three separate things:

1. MOM's rules. Both the employer and the helper have to meet the Ministry of Manpower's eligibility requirements, and MOM decides on permit applications, not us.
2. A written service agreement with us. Our fees, what those fees cover, and any support or replacement terms are set out there and signed by both sides.
3. A separate employment contract between you and the helper. You are her employer. We are the agency that introduced you and handled the process.

Because of that, nothing published on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, and nothing on it is a guarantee that a placement will happen, that a particular helper will be available, or of any particular outcome once she starts. Helper availability changes daily, and a candidate described to you one week may be placed the next.

Where we describe timelines or response times anywhere on this site, those are what we typically achieve, not commitments. The only commitments we make are the ones in the signed service agreement.

4. Figures in our guides

Our guides quote regulatory figures: levy rates, insurance minimums, eligibility thresholds and similar. Every guide carries the date it was last checked against MOM, and those figures are accurate as at that date and no later.

These numbers move, sometimes at short notice and sometimes without much publicity. Before you rely on any figure for a decision that costs you money, check the current position on mom.gov.sg or ask us. If you find something on this site that has gone out of date, tell us and we will correct it.

5. Content on this site

The text, guides, photographs, illustrations, layout and code on this site, together with the Jaz Helpers name and logo, belong to Jaz Helpers Pte. Ltd. or are used with permission.

You are welcome to read, print and share our pages for your own use, and to quote a short passage as long as you credit Jaz Helpers and link back to the page. You may not republish substantial parts of our content, copy our guides onto another site, or reuse our photographs, without written permission from us.

6. Acceptable use

When you use this site, please do not:

• use it for any unlawful purpose
• use automated tools to scrape, bulk download or harvest our content or contact details
• submit false information through our enquiry form, or someone else's personal details without their knowledge
• attempt to interfere with the site, its security or its availability
• reproduce our content to build a competing listing or directory

We may decline to respond to an enquiry we have good reason to believe is not genuine.

7. Links to other sites

We link out to the Ministry of Manpower, to WhatsApp and to a small number of other services. Those sites are not under our control, we are not responsible for their content, and a link is not an endorsement.

One point worth stating plainly: where anything on this site and MOM's own published position ever disagree, MOM is the authority and MOM is right.

If you contact us through WhatsApp, that conversation is also subject to WhatsApp's and Meta's terms, which we do not control.

8. Availability and liability

We put real work into keeping this site accurate and available, but we cannot promise that it will always be free of errors or uninterrupted, and content may be updated or removed without notice.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your reliance on the general information published here, from the site being unavailable, or from any third party site linked from it.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. And nothing on this page reduces our obligations to you under a service agreement we have signed. Those obligations are set out in the agreement itself, and they stand.

9. Your personal data

How we collect, use, disclose and retain personal data is set out in our privacy policy, which is written to meet Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012. It also explains how to ask us for access to your data, to correct it, or to withdraw your consent.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services or the law change. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the updated terms. This version was last updated on 27 July 2026.

11. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site, are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have jurisdiction.
