If there is concern for her safety or she cannot be located, contact the Police and make a missing-person report. Keep the report details. Inform Jaz as soon as possible; MOM also requires the employer to notify/cancel the Work Permit within the prescribed timeframe if the helper remains missing.

Contact the Police immediately. Do not make arrangements independently before speaking with the authorities. MOM requires notification within 12 hours of learning of the helper's death. Inform Jaz as soon as practical so we can help with the administrative steps.
Seek medical careSuspected self-harm / suicide risk
Do not leave the person alone if it is safe for you to stay. Remove immediate hazards only if safe. If there is imminent danger, injury or an attempt has occurred, call 995 and/or 999. Inform Jaz after emergency help has been activated.

This is generally not an after-hours agency emergency. Arrange medical review and message Jaz. The employer must notify MOM. If there is severe pain, heavy bleeding, fainting or another medical emergency, call 995.

If stolen, make a Police report. If simply misplaced, keep searching and message Jaz with the helper's details. We will guide you on replacement or MOM notification during operating hours.
Next working periodHelper wants transfer / repatriation immediately
Unless there is a safety concern, this is not an emergency. Keep communication calm, avoid making irreversible arrangements overnight, and message Jaz. We will advise on transfer, lodging or repatriation options during operating hours.

Separate the parties if emotions are high, avoid threats or physical confrontation, and document the issue. Message Jaz with a short factual summary. We will follow up when we reopen.

These matters should not use emergency services unless there is immediate danger. Keep records and wait for Jaz to reopen. Employment-related advice is also available from the Centre for Domestic Employees (CDE).

Arrange appropriate medical care through a GP, clinic or hospital as needed. Employers remain responsible for the helper's medical treatment. Use 995 only when the situation becomes life-threatening or serious.

Cooperate with the Police and keep the officer's name, station and case reference where available. Do not obstruct an investigation. Message Jaz with the factual details and we will assist with employment-related administration when we reopen.
